Fusible Spray Adhesive

Fusible Spray Adhesive, formerly called Deco Foil Fusible Spray Adhesive, is a permanent, heat-activated adhesive for fabric foiling. Use it with stencils and compatible transfer foil to create decorative textile designs.

Application

1. Pre-test, protect the work surface, and mask the area surrounding the stencil.
2. Shake the can. Hold it upright 6–8 inches from the fabric and use short, sweeping bursts for even coverage.
3. Remove the stencil and let the adhesive dry for 10 minutes.
4. Place foil color-side up over the design and cover with foiling parchment.
5. Following the manufacturer’s directions, use an iron on a high setting with steam and firm pressure for 10 seconds per section. Shift slightly to avoid steam-hole marks.
6. Let the project cool completely before peeling. The manufacturer recommends 1–2 hours for best results.
